Privacy Policy for WuKong

This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile game WuKong (悟空：八十一难), Android package com.magic.wukong, published by Magic Pixel Studio on Google Play. It explains what information the game does and does not handle, and how you control the data kept on your device.
1. Overview
WuKong is a single-player, offline action game. We do not collect, store, share, or sell any personal information. The game has no account system, makes no internet connections, and contains no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, or other third-party data-collection components.
Our Google Play Data safety declaration for this app is “No data collected” and “No data shared.”
2. Information we do not collect
For clarity, the game does not collect or transmit any of the following data types, whether directly or through third parties:
- Personal information (name, email address, user IDs, address, phone number)
- Financial or payment information
- Health and fitness information
- Location (precise or approximate)
- Contacts, messages, or calendar data
- Photos, videos, audio, or files
- App activity, in-game actions, or web browsing history
- App performance data (crash logs, diagnostics)
- Device or other identifiers, including the Android Advertising ID
3. Information stored on your device
To let you continue where you left off, the game saves the following only on your device, in the app’s private storage:

This data is not linked to your identity and contains no personal information. It never leaves your device and Magic Pixel Studio has no access to it.
If Android system backup is enabled on your device, Android may include this app data in your Google account backup. That backup is performed by Android under your device settings and Google’s privacy policy, not by the game.
4. Device information used locally
The game reads two pieces of device information at runtime, solely to display itself correctly:
- The system language, to choose the default interface language. Your chosen language is then saved as a setting on the device.
- The screen size and safe-area insets, to lay out the interface around notches and rounded corners.
Neither value is stored beyond the language setting, and neither is transmitted.
5. Permissions
The game does not request access to the camera, microphone, location, contacts, phone, SMS, notifications, or storage outside its own private folder.
The current build declares the INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, and ACCESS_WIFI_STATE permissions, which come from the game engine’s project template. The game does not open any network connection and does not use these permissions. They are scheduled to be removed in a future update.
6. Third-party services
The game contains no third-party advertising, analytics, social, or crash-reporting SDKs. It is built with the Cocos Creator engine, which runs entirely on your device and does not send data on the game’s behalf.
Google Play and the Android operating system may collect information about app installs, updates, and system-level crashes as part of their normal operation. That processing is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy, not by this policy.
7. Children’s privacy
The game does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. It contains no chat, user-generated content, advertising, or in-app purchases.
8. Data retention and deletion
Because all data lives on your device, you control it completely. It is kept until you remove it:
- Uninstall the game, or
- Open Settings → Apps → WuKong → Storage → Clear data on your Android device.
Either action permanently removes your progress and settings. There is no server-side copy to delete.
9. Security
Your data never leaves the device, so there is no transmission to protect. Save data is kept in the app’s private storage area, which other apps cannot read on a standard Android device.
10. Your rights
Since we do not collect personal data, there is no personal data for us to access, correct, export, or erase on your behalf. If you have any question about how the game handles data, or believe this policy is inaccurate, contact us and we will respond.
11. Changes to this policy
If a future version adds any feature that changes how data is handled, for example online leaderboards, cloud saves, or crash reporting, we will update this policy before releasing that version, change the “Last updated” date above, and describe the change in the game’s update notes.
